Heya,

My name is Kim and I´m a nature loving, easily distracted 30 year old from the Netherlands.

For most of my life, I´ve been too skinny, due to health issues concerning my digestive system.
But eventually the proper treatment was found and things got - thankfully - under control.
(I still cope with chronic pain, but I really can´t complain knowing what things were like before.)
This left me with the habit of eating a LOT, though.
Which was suddenly no longer necessary.
Then I got myself a `sitting job´ aswell.
And my body inevitably swayed the other way.

Since last year I have been working on losing weight and it has been going well.
Slow - very slow - but steady.
It´s been a lonely road, as no one in my direct enviroment is doing the same or even bothered with weight loss.
(Well intended family and friends sometimes even make things more difficult.)
So I decided to drop by here in my search for motivation and advice.
Of course with the intent to give support in return! In any way I can.

Since last year I have been working on losing weight and it has been going well.
Slow - very slow - but steady.
Congratulations on finding a way, through constant pain, to do something about losing the weight you gained & obviously doing it in a good way. Very slow, but steady will hold you in good stead to maintain that loss. Are you about where you should be now?
You will find good support in here & your diary can be where you offload whatever you like. Most of us are trying to be as healthy as we can (as distinct from being as skinny as you can) & everyone is very supportive.
