Money? no im saving up well so tht anit really a prob, but i dont wanna pay out loads just for the flight or accomdation. What do you want to do? mm not sure really, i just wanna look around and experience living in america for a couple of weeks. Actually at 18 I'd consider spring break in Ft Lauderdale to be better. where is that? ive never heard of it
Miami is not really an ultimate destination in the states.

i loved miami..
FortLaudie is great.. better than MIA any day. Still in driving distance to south beach, downtown FTL, and many other places. What you plan on doing should dictate where you go.
kool tell me about it
it anit anything like csi is it? or is it??

well, for me it was more the company i was with than anything. i met my bf's family for the first time and they are wonderful people. we stayed at a place right on the beach, with a view of the beach from the balcony and windows.. being from north central Texas and never traveling.. it was awesome. I've only been to Miami Fl, Orlando FL, and Kansas so I don't have a lot to compare it to, but the others seem to know what they are talking about.
I grew up in Fort Lauderdale, just north of Miami. Here is what you can do/expect:
Plusses:
Beaches with gorgeous chicks. Note: US beaches are not topless
Endless bars in South Beach, but the legal drinking age is 21
Learn how to windsurf
Learn how to surf
Learn how to dive
Go deepsea fishing
Catch a Florida Marlins baseball game in April or a Miami Heat basketball game or a Miami Dolphins American football game later in the year
Great weather in April in Miami - mid to high 80's temps
No hurricanes in April
2-hour drive to the Florida Keys, 6 hours to Key West, 4 hours to Orlando and Disney World
Downsides:
Those are some of the most hostile, ill-mannered people you will find anywhere
