hey there. New girl here.

Hey there, my name is Debbie. I'm 19 years old and I'm a cheerleader. At the moment I'm squad-less so I have joined this site for tips and help on how to maintain my fitness level until I am back in another team.

Before now I have warmed up and then gone straight into cheerleading. Jumps and stunts and dancing. Unfortunatly, everything I did have always involved between 2-7 people. Now I'm just one and trying to excercise on my own :S

As you may have guessed I have a healty diet and a nice figure. I just need some help on maintaining it alone.

I would say some whole body callisthenics may be suitable for you:

Hindu Push ups
Burpees
Squat Thrusts
Mountain Climbers
Jumping, Tumbling etc.
Wall Walking
Hindu Squats
etc. there are hundreds

These drills will keep your body working as a unit, keep your metab ticking over and keep your energy and fitness up. Try sets of 20-50 reps depending on the drill
 
what all of those meant. See if you told me to do a scorpian and a half pike I'ld know instantly what you mean. Anything excercise but not cheer related and I'm useless. I have no idea what it all means. I tend to stick to the dance routines I used to do and push ups, but I'm having trouble with my splits and my jumps again. Go figure. The hardest things for me to achieve in the first place and they're the first things I'm starting to loose. I can't get down any more, let alone achieve my scorpians.
