Hey, Newbie!

Hello,
I thought i would introduce myself, and i had a quick question, So i will start with the introduction.

My name is Katie, I am 18, 5'4...closer to 5'5 and weigh around 150 lbs, I was always a skinny kid, till grade 5 when puberty hit, I started gaining weight in Jr. High...but it wasn't bad, My weight Started bother me in the last year or so, of course this is the most i have ever weighed, so I decided it was time to get in shape.

I try to eat breakfast, but most of the time i end up feeling sick for the rest of the morning, does any know of anything light that would still be nutrious and filling...maybe like a nutriton shake or something, that i could try?

Welcome to the site. You could try oatmeal and some egg whites for breakfast. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day and detrimental to weight loss.
 
Tony's right, ya gotta eat breakfast. It'll make a huge difference.

Maybe try some egg whites in a whole wheat pita with a piece of fruit, or some lowfat cottage cheese and fruit.
 
welcome Katie...and agreed, definately try to make urself eat breakfast...i was like u, i never thought it was important and was never hungry enough to eat it, and when i did it made me naucious....but then i forced myself to do and i see now that its given me more energy and im slowly even loosing weight~ so good luck to you!
