Hey newbie with 1 Question!

I'm new and just have one question...

How long to see results for abs???

I used to weigh 270 pounds @ 20 years old and now I'm down to 195 @ 21. I've kept a food journal and worked out 5x a week for the past year. I still have a gut and love handles, but in all fairness, I haven't done any weight lifting, just cardio. Now I've started to incorperate weight training in my workout routine. I just wanted to know because I see definition in my arms and legs, but the abs, nothing. Any advice would be awesome. Thanks and good luck to everybody on their own weight loss/body building goals! Oh, I'm 5'10" @ 195. My goal is 175. Thanks again.
 
I am 40, 5' 10 1/2" and about 158 - 159 lbs. and can see the top two rows of my abs. The way I understand it is that everyone has them you just have to lower your body fat % enough to see them.
