Hey everyone, I'm new here and just figuring all this out. This site seems great. About myself, I'm 23, a stay at home mom, and have a 4 year old and a 9 month old. I started struggling with my weight after my first child. I gained 50lbs during the pregnancy and haven't been able to get rid of it permanatly. I'm struggling with depression, a lot due to my weight, but also from being a young mother I think.
Anyway, I could really use someone to talk to who has similair problems. I haven't started a plan yet, and that's my problem, I need to get started. So please, if you would like, write back and we'll keep each other going!

Hey there,
Does anyone have any tips for trying to get an exercise routine with 2 young children at home. I find it hard enough to find time to clean and play and cook. By the end of the day I'm so tired I don't feel like moving!! So if you guys have some advice, I would love to hear it.
Thanks

exercize

Do your kids nap? Well, I know the baby does, lol! But what about the 4 year old? Or you could do yoga with them... Elmocize? Do you have a mall nearby to push a stroller around?
I have the same problems, when my kids nap, I clean and then have lunch and veg for a little while. And forget working out at night, I can barely keep myself from going to bed at the same time they do!

Thank you, I"m the same way. I'm lucky if my 9 month old takes a nap. My 4 year old definatly doesn't. It's hard to find the balance, you know. I was thinking about an exercise tape, but even that is hard to fit in.

Also a new mom

My 9 month old is really mobile and wearing me out. I find that if I strap her in the stroller and go walk with a friend, she can chill out and I can get some exercise. i hear you about the depression...a lifelong struggle for me. I have lots of weight to lose and just found this site. Good luck!!!:)
