Hi guys,

I'm SO glad I found this site, hopefully it will give me the motivation I need. I'm 18 years old and I weigh 207lbs - something I'm really not proud of. I stopped keeping track of my weight about two years ago, I've been around the 180lb mark for most of latter teenage life, and was surprised when last week I found out that I'd gone up to 212lbs.

Since then I have lost 5lbs and I'm continuing to diet (eating around 1,200 calories a day and cutting out most processed foods - I've actually found this super manageable and I'm not going hungry), drinking lots of water and exercising twice a day (when I'm good!) I've been following the exercises on an app that I can do at home as I'm not yet comfortable going to the gym or running outside, but I have bought a cross trainer which should be with me soon.

I've definitely found a routine that works for me, I just need the motivation to keep it up. I'm aiming to eventually get to around 130lb, so that's another 77 to go!

With University coming up in a year, I just really want to feel happy and confident in my own body so I can stop fussing about all of my insecurities.
