Hey guys, need oppinions on how often i should work out....

Hey guys, this is my first topic here and my second post. I like it here so far, and i'll probably be on here often. My name is Jeff and i am fourteen, and i just got a book off of a website i ordered. I bought the book off of and it looks very very very effective so far. I'm wondering, would performing the workouts every day increase my strength/muscle more, or would working out one day and resting the next, and continuing in that pattern increase my strength/muscle more?? It says in the schedule to take one day breaks, but i want to know which will increase my speed and strength more, since i'm looking for the best results. What do you guys think???

If you are doing real workouts, there would be no way to workout back to back to back all the time. 2 days in a row is cool as long as you design your program right, but once you start lifting 3 days in a row, you are overtraining. I don't know that book, but I can tell you my speed, endurance, and sprinting power all increased with lunges, squats, and deadlifts. Do em.

days per week

When working speed quality is far more important than quantity. You will find that speed work is short and may not think it is all that hard. Speed works more on the nervous system so you will not be sore. The same goes for the weight lifting for speed and power. The reps will be low and the weight will be high unlike when you build for mass which is the opposite and will make you more sore.

Even though you will not be sore do not train hard everyday. You can do something all the time but it will be technique and recovery work.

Hope this helps
