Hey Guys & Gals...

Hello all,

I'm new to the forum and had a few questions for you guys... I'm 5'9 and 205 pounds, I have been running a little but would rather lift weights. I havent lifted since high school though. I began lifting again 3 weeks ago and gradually beginning to come out of the sore phase. I was thinking about the beginning of the month taking creatine and protein. How much Protein intake would I need with my body weight and size. I am really aiming for strenth and muscle mass and getting rid of the fat. I'm a Correctional Officer in a Federal Prison so I owe it to myself and fellow officers to be in shape. Thanks for any input...
 
Around 2g/kg/day is recommended for gaining muscle mass while improving your body composition. As for creatine, read this sticky:
