Hey everyone,
I am new to this thing and wanted to introduce myself.
I am a SAHM of two and looking to lose about 10 pounds and "tone up" before a return to Hawaii with my husband in January. I stand at 5'2 and currently am at 132 pounds. I had gained TONS with my pregnancies but managed to lose all of it a few years ago through a good diet and 5 weekly workouts consisting of 1 HR of eliptical and 1 HR of weight training a day. When my husband went to Iraq, I started to smoke again (quit 8 months ago) but gained 10 pounds fighting the cravings of quitting smoking.
At this time am using the on-base gym, but I am only doing 30 min of eliptical and 30-40 min worth of the weights, I try to do them all and am doing the usual 3 sets of 12 reps. I am also trying to stay within my 300 calories a meal goal, and trying to limit my beloved Starbucks for when I feel I really need one.
Any tips or comments are always welcome. I basically am here to support/be supported, and to see if I am on the right path to this. Many thanks!
