heroes

My husband really likes it...I'm a little intrigued.
 
I'll admit that i'm totally into it. It's more of my husbands type of show though. I kept talking about it to him so now he wants to watch it with me.

When I first heard of it I thought it sounded kind of dumb but I quickly got sucked in. It's refreshing that there is a show out there that is different than all the rest. It moves a little slow but I love it.

I didn't get to see the first few shows. Has anybody figured out what the deal is with the blonde mom with split personalities? Not sure how her power is going to be used for "good", ya know. It's a interesting role and all... just different than the other powers.
 
I can't figure her out either. Whats up with Peter? I'm thinking he can do whatever any of the others can do if he is around them. I don't watch much TV except for The Office and My Name is Earl (no I'm not necessarily a big NBC fan, its the only channel I get :p ), but I can't miss an episode of this.

I am TOTALLY sucked in on this one!!! I think Peter can use any power that he is around, but also that he retains that power for a while after leaving. Remember, he told the painter that he had painted something after he had left him the last time. Pretty cool, eh? I can't wait for Peter to realize his abilities...and I wonder if his brother already knows about it.
 
also...it is going to be REALLY cool when he comes into contact with ...oh...what's his name...the one that can clear someone's mind out. THAT is going to be neat!
 
lol.... yeah I know. I've got to set up the vcr so I can tape it for my husband. I am gonna try not to watch it tonight that way I can wait it with him. Soooo I better not look at this thread again until after I watch it. Shhh don't tell me what happens....lol.:D
 
Do you guys really think that the mom is dead? I'm not sure. By watching the previews I wouldn't be surprised if her little boy has some sort of power. Did you see where he had his hand on something and had a very serious look on his face? MAAAAYBEEEE he can heal people and he heals his mom! lol Heck I don't know.

The parents that came to see the cheerleader are NOT her parents.... hmmmm wonder who her real parents are.
 
I was so bummed that that one girl is working for the cheerleader's dad. I was actually hoping she was just a nice girl or that she had some secret power of her own that she was just keeping secret. Oh well.
 
I saw the evil girl coming a mile away. She was just way too convenient and also persistent about continuing the work.

I definitely dont see Niki being dead. There was too much build up in her role to just be out of the picture already and I dont think it was built up just for DL and Micah. I think she wsa just unconscious.

I wouldnt be surprised if her real parents were killed by her step dad long ago, since her step mom made mention of them looking for them when she was younger and mentioned the tests and all.

Its definitely got me hooked
 
Hmmmmm ya know, I bet you are right about the cheerleaders real parents. I hadn't even thought of that.

I also didn't see the "evil girl" coming. Just before that I was sitting there telling my husband how cute she was and how her hair cut really works for her and then BAMMM!

Yeah, I bet Niki isn't dead either. Personally I think she's one of the most interesting ones on the show. It wouldn't be smart to kill her off this early. I do think her son has powers though. We'll see


P.S.
I'm also a BIG Lost fan. Now that show is GOOD!!! If you haven't been watching it all along... don't bother. Too much has happened and you wouldn't get all the little hints and clues that there are. We've watched it from the very first show and we wouldn't miss a episode for nothing.
 
I love Heroes!!!

This week's show was pretty good. Not as fast paced as some of the others, but still really great!

My fav has got to be Hiro. I just love how totally goofy he is. But I know we're gonna be losing that funloving nerdy guy though :(

I also really like Peter and Nathan. Last week when Nathan was telling that one asian woman that he now wanted 4million and gave the most perfect politician smile... I dunno why but it just made me like him even though I should've been hating his sleezy butt heh.

Oh and I also really REALLY like Claire's dad. I don't think he's evil at all. More.. neutral than anything. He hasn't really done anything particularly evil. He hasn't killed anyone yet.. and he could've told his mysterious black hero guy to totally wipe the cop's memory but he didn't.
But he really won me over last week when we got to see that he very much does care for Claire like a real father. Plus him calling her "Claire Bear" is just too cute :) hehe

Anywho! I can't wait to see what happens next week!


PS: I also LOVE Lost and haven't missed an episode since it came on.
 
I still LOVE the show, don't get me wrong, but has anyone else noticed how cheesy it can get sometimes? lol Some of the things they do and say just cracks us up. It's just one of those things that you have to look past, I guess. If you hadn't noticed it before... you probably will now:D . It's still a pretty interesting and unique show.
