here is my story

I am 31 years old and I have 3 little girls aged 5, 3 and 1. I gained 65 pounds in each of my pregnancies. After my 2nd child was born I worked hard and lost all the baby weight. I felt great! Then child number 3 came along. I started with the weight loss a month after she was born. The weight started coming off very quickly in the beginning. I set a goal to lose all my pregnancy weight by the time my daughter was a year old. I told myself it took 9 months to gain the weight that allowing a year to lose it would be more than enough. I still have 7 pounds of pregnancy weight to lose and another 10 to reach my goal weight of 130 pounds. My biggest problem is I am so tired and busy all the time that it's hard to fit in my exercise. My daughter has been a very difficult baby and it makes it hard. If I go on my treadmill when she is sleeping it wakes her up, if I do it while she is awake she is crying for me. I would love to join a gym but it makes it so hard with 3 little ones at home to fit it into my daily routine. My hubby is always at work so that doesn't help matters much. My neighbor suggested going to a place where they offer childcare but my 1 year old makes strange so bad that she wouldn't stay with someone she doesn't know and I would worry about her the whole time I was working out. I would love to hear any suggestions or words of advice.

I don't have kids myself, but I am an auntie many times over...so take this with a big ole grain of salt.. I can tell you from experience from my nieces and nephews, having them in childcare for an hour or so wouldn't be a bad thing for the kid... even at a young age it helps with socializing skills...

Having time for you is important... rather than always being mommy.. can you get a teenager in for an afternoon a week while you take time for yourself - you needn't leave the house but you can spend a few hours on yourself... Or trading off with neighbors... take their kids for an afternoon, and let them go off.. or they take yours...

Being auntie, there were times where i thought I was a piece of gym equipment.. .tossing the kids around, playing ring around the rose and other games was good activity... what about making up some games where you could all work out together - Kids like to dance - have a dance marathon.. and see who can have the silliest dance... Mom too.. :)
