Well, I have just found this forum, but have been on this weight loss journey for 2 1/2 years.

Stats:
Age: 38 1/2
Weight: 156.5
Height: 5'4"
Size: 10-12
Fat: 31.8%
Sex: Female
Cholesterol: 270-290
Blood Pressure: Normal

Goals:
1) Lose 26.5 lbs - decrease calorie intake, exercise
2) Increase muscle mass / decrease fat % - strength training
3) Improve cardio fitness - exercise (treadmill and group classes)
4) Lower cholesterol - reduce saturated and trans fat intake

I haven't decided yet how I want to use this forum to help me: 1) post wherever; 2) use the diary to record exercise, food intake and/or weight loss; 3) use the weight loss table, 4) use the tickerfactory.com in my signature. We'll see.
 
1) posting wherever is good for getting info on stuff you may not have thought of; 2) dairy is great to get feedback; 3) weight loss table is going to get an update and have it's own dynamic ticker; 4) see (3) :)
 
Well, I haven't been here in a while, but I have been working hard. I'm down to 141.8 lbs. Yeah!!!

My neighbor and I have started walking and jogging every morning and sometimes in the evenings too. We are also increasing our water intake and really watching our calories. It's a slow process, but we are finally seeing results.
