Help =]

This is my first post, hope i have come to the right place :)
I am 16 and want to start working out. i have decided to do splits instead of compound workouts, but would like an idea on where to start
for example i would like to do
Monday: Arms/Upper Body
Wedsnesday:Torso/Main Body
Friday: Legs
Sunday:Mixture?

Does anybody have a suitable programme to advise if possible. I am a novice at this so apologies for asking a lot. I would prefer to use freeweights to be honest, and am willing to work hard, so quite an intensive one if posssible. Also ideas on how i should progress the weight value lifted if possible.
If anyone could devise a quick programme that i could adapt i would be very grateful

there are some links to some very good workouts there.

Also some more details (height, weight, bf%, goals etc.) will make it easier for people on the forums here to give you more detailed advice.

I strongly suggest you reconsider doing compounds. I'm not saying to not do your splits, just incorporate compounds.

The benefits they will bring you are countless.
