Hi there,

My name is Luke I am currently 18 st 10 264 lbs, I am 18 years old and always had a problem with weight.

After my 18th, I decided I wanted to make a change, I started soft running and interval running. Neither worked for me.

I deem my self to eat healthy and not snack on chocolate and eat smaller portions, taking in 2000 calories a day or less.

I am not sure where to go or what to do? I am stuck where I don't know anything about fitness and diets making sure that they match up, or what fitness program I should be doing.

Help would be appreciated.

First, you should prepare more for a lifestyle change - not a diet change. If you don't adapt to something you don't stick with the rest of your life, you'll more than likely fall back into old habits and re-gain all the weight back. So keep that in mind when you make a diet. Technically you can have anything, so as long it is in moderation and you're burning the calories off properly. Find activities you love to do and don't seem like working out. Hiking, dancing, lifting weights, running, something you're passionate or excited about. Set reasonable short term, intermediate, and long term goals. Mental aspect is a huge part of this, if you have the power you'll do great. Believe in yourself and do not give up, no matter what. We can get there.
