Hello guys!!!
I am 25 and from India. I have gained quite a lot of weight over the period of 3 years post graduation.
My current weight is 194 pounds.
I have got married recently and saw my wedding pics and i look really huge in the pics :(:(:(:(:(
I am feeling very digusting as i have spoiled my special day.
I love eating and I am a complete foodie, as a result of which I am not able to control and cannot diet.
I have tried several gyms, zumba, dieticians but I have no determination.
Please sugget me what can be done.
I am planing to join a gym as soon as possible and this time with dedication.
I came across this forum, read a few posts and am really feeling motivated. :)

hello vinz .
i was similar to your situations , i thought it would be impossible to stop eating for a minute lol ,
just keep imagining yourself with a nice shaped and less weight body and think about the benefits that will come to you , it will give you some motivation , also look for people with high weight who want to lose it and communicate with them , challenge them , it will be great too ..
about food : try to eat healthy food always , and be ideal with everything , eating less food by time will make your stomach smaller , drink water and natural juice ..
gym will help you with shape , but you need to lose fat so i suggest you do sport like football , cycling , running or anything to lose fat .
we are all here for you bro , we support you :v

Vinz,

I've been there and trust me, I understand.

I find the problem most people have or do in this forum, is try something new: diet, fad, tons of exercise, etc.. Most people fail because they start by doing, and don't understand what it is that they do and what affect it has on their body.

Here are a few tips to help you on your way:
1- Learn about insulin sensitivity (It is a common problem these days, and is the number cause of obesity today)
2- Understand that the FDA food pyramid is wrong (I know this is a bold statement, but it's a major cause of confusion and why most people approach weight loss the wrong way).
3- Order of importance: Nutrition comes first, exercise is second. If you exercise more (Which is I recommend), but your nutrition is off, you might lose a little weight, but you will gain it back once you stop.
4- Losing weight should be fun and easy, if it isn't you may be approaching it the wrong way.

If you need help, I am here for you. We can discuss via email if you like. Read my profile and best of luck. I know you can do it! Don't get discouraged.
