help!

Hey there so i need some help because i am getting a little discouraged. I am new to the gym just two weeks and I absolutely love it. The thing that is bothering me is that I am there to lose weight and tone up and I find my pants getting tighter in the legs. What am I doing wrong? I do notice my pants are getting a looser around the waist. I want to thin my legs out alot while toning them up. I typically do an hour of cardio thats 20 minutes on the elliptical, cross trainer and the recumbant bike. This is 6 days per week and then 3 times per week i am doing the circuit plus squats with the ball.

I am not on any supplements because i know squat about them and if they would benefit me at all?

Advice anyone?

Thank you

Think about it...

You're doing an hour worth of cardio workout 6 days per week, all of which is centered around your legs AND you're doing squats. Your routine is geared to work out your legs. That's why your pants are getting tighter around your legs - because you're toning up your legs faster than the rest of your body.

Nothing wrong with that. I don't see a reason to complain.

Your goal is to lose weight, so if you lost weight then you are doing well. In my opinion, I wouldn't worry so much about "toning up." I would just worry about losing weight via cardiovascular exercise and eating fewer calories.

It is not my main goal right now to tone up it is to lose weight. I would like fo my legs to be alot smaller than they are right now. What are some more cardivascular excercises I could do to lose weight or should i stick to what im doing?

Does this make sense? I understand i am going to tone up while excercising but i dont want to tone the big legs i have now..will they get smaller as they tone up?
