Welllllll i didnt know where to put this so why not the OT? lol

uhmmm im having issues losing weight
and really, i cant change my diet too much because i'm still in highschool and we have a horrible lunch program. every selection is really fatty and probably isnt real chicken (ew).
this was my last year on the swim team, and even with practicing every day, i did not lose weight. I recently started a workout program with my mom, but nothing is changing. Also, at home, since i am still in highschool, i dont really have a say in what my parents buy at the grocery store so i wind up eating whatever (probably NOT healthy) thing they are eating.

am i just doomed until i go to college or do i really have options?!

help plssss

Working out is just one part. You really need to get your diet under control.

There are no healthy options at your school? Even lower calorie? Can you bring a bagged lunch? Have you talked to your parents about your food situation? You could jsut try smaller portions than you've been eating, that should help some. Its difficult if you can't cook yourself to really have control over your diet.

Keep up the exercise and if you really are stuck on food choices, make the best choice you can (read up heavily here and elsewhere on the internets to educate yourself) and try for smaller portions. You have to look at the long term. If you start to make those decisions now you will slowly get ot the point you want.

Also, when you do get to college you wil have some foundation at least.
