Sport Help!

Sport Fitness
Hey guys I'm in need of some food advice for my workout schedule.

I hit the gym 5 times a week doing a specific body part each day with a little cardio 2-3 times a week.

The biggest problem for me is not the discipline to hit the gym or eat properly, but the fact that I'm a vegetarian. Therefore I can't get the required protein from lean meats, tuna, etc. and have to rely on shakes that I take after my workout (2 glasses after workingout).

Therefore, I was hoping with the knowledge you guys have amassed if someone could help me come up with a food table of what I should eat for b,l,d and two snacks in between. I don't mind eating the same thing everyday, but just need to know what to eat in order to effectively first reduced some of the fat I've amassed (cutting), and then bulk.

Any feedback that you guys could provide is much appreciated.

stop being a vegatarian you wimp. Humans are suppose to eat meat. Whats wrong with you?

*rolls eyes at tomahawk*

while I too feel that humans are designed to eat meat...I'll at least answer your question :)

cottage cheese
eggs (esp egg whites)
soy based proteins, like veggie dogs/burgers, etc
milk
beans/legumes

really the trickiest part is mixing your proteins, so you get a complete amino acid profile. most meat is a complete protein because it has all the essential amino acids in it. This is not true of vegetable proteins.
Should be able to google for info on common veggie protein combos.

If you're a vegan it can be tough. But if you are willing to add eggs and some dairy you'll have an easier time of it.

Chimps and Gorillas are primates just like us and they eat very little animal proteins, a few termites or bugs here and there or the occasional monkey(chimps) and they are super strong.

You probably won't build huge mass but this guy looks pretty good

here's a site that lists some options ... hope it helps some
