Wait, so you are no longer a vegetarian, right? Just a little confused by your post.
Eggs aren't meat (although if they grew up they'd be tasty chicken breasts!), but they are good protein sources.
Chicken breast (skinless) is a good choice.
Lean cuts of beef and pork are acceptable, but since they won't be as tender you'll want to do stuff like slice it thin and make stir-fry or something similar, rather than grill it like a steak. some marinades will help tenderize though.
Nearly all fish is acceptable too, especially salmon and tuna. a lot of the various white fish available is less fishy tasting (if you're not a fish fan)
avoid hot dogs, sausages, hamburger, bacon, ham...anything that's been processed and/or loaded with salt.
