Hey guys, wondering if I could get some criticisms/suggestions about my diet. Im 5'11, 27 years old, about 20% BF. I lift weights heavy about 4-5/wk. Do 20-40 minute cardio every session. I'm looking to lose weight. Going low-carb has seemed to be the only thing that has ever worked for me.

8:30am-- 4 eggs--2 whole, 2 white. sometimes w/ a little cheddar cheese

12:00-- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breast with buffalo sauce + vegetable. (usually carrots or edamame beans)

3:00-- protein shake w/ water, low-carb

5-630-- gym

7:00 --- new york steak with mushrooms + 1 can green beans. (sometimes i'll have the two chicken breasts or two lean pork chops--the three are pretty much on a rotation)

10:00--protein shake w/water, low-carb

On top of this, I always drink at least 1 gal. of water. take the multivitamins.

any suggestions you could give would be much appreciated.

Thanks.

how many calories a day are you consuming?

i'd suggest getting an account at and keep track for about a week... and weigh and measure what you're eating...

If it works for you, then keep doing what you are doing.

Just be careful You didn't post ur weight but that calorie level seems awfully low to me. Just go based on how ur feeling, if you are feeling lathargic and tired you are probably not eating enough. Don't be afraid of calories if you eat to little your metabolisim will slow which is what u don't want when trying to lose weight!
