Weight-Loss

I work midnights, so my days are a little odd. I have my calories figured out for the most part, but my off days are killing me. Here's my question....
I was off yesterday, and ate 1300 calories. I slept from 7-11pm. Now, I'm at work until 8am. I will go to sleep when I get home. For this time that I'm at work, should I reset my calories, or are they tagged onto yesterday? In that same question....my boyfriend is home from work tomorrow. Normally, I would need to stay awake until 6pm. Would my calories reset from my 4 hours of sleep the night before?

Sorry if I am super confusing. Lol

Any takers?

Sorry, I didn't answer before because I don't know, but I tend to assume that your daily calorie allowance is the amount eaten over a 24 hour period. If I'm right, then what I would do is either work on calendar days (12:00am-11:59pm), or pick a time (say 11pm if that's a normalish time getting up) and then have your calorie allowance over the following 24 hours (to 10:59pm the following day).

Oh, Hon, it's okay. I figured the post got lost in the jumble of new posts.
I am just kind of trying to figure out the days that I can't get sustained sleep. For example...
Sunday, I get 8 hours. I wake up at 10pm, work from 12:30am until 8:30am. I'm usually too wired to go right to sleep, so I stay up. My daughter wakes up in the morning, then I'm up until my boyfriend comes home, around 6:30. I go to sleep until 11:30, then I repeat the same schedule. Basically, there's a 19 hour awake period. Should I break my calories up during the day, or eat a little extra?
I know that no one will have the "right" answer. I'm really just looking for suggestions. :)
