Help with calorie intake....

Hi,

I am 160 lb female and am hoping to get to around 135 lbs. I want to lose minimum 15 lbs before Christmas. I only have time to get on treadmill for a half hour 3 times a week if I am lucky. I put my stats into fitday for a 20 lb weight loss and it said I should aim for around 1300 calories. Does this sound right?

I did that last week and I was only hungry the first day. I have been eating like every 2 hours or so, but am making WAY better food choices than before. I am new at trying to lose weight, so any help would be appreciated!

Thank You!!

I have read quite a few of the "sticky's". The information is very helpful, but too much information sometimes clouds up the main points for me.

One of my main goals is just to make smarter eating choices. Like for example instead of my usually mid-morning snack of my favorite chips, I might get a small bowl of broccoli with a little bit of shredded cheese on it. These choices have made it easier to stay around my calorie goal.

And by the way, I aim for around a calorie intake amount. If I go a little over, that's ok too. I was just wondering if I am aiming in the right direction for my weight loss goals.

Just on the mid-mornign broccoli snack, instead of using shredded cheese try using dried parmesean, less calories, sat. fat, and total fat. Plus the same cheesiness (? Spelling)
