HELP: Stomach Pains from Protein Supplaments :(

hi,
Im 15 years old.
iv just started to workout. Today i benched and did weights and then had a whey protein drink (Musashi. WPC)

After 4 - 5 hours i start getting stomach pains and not fealling so great. Is this normal?. Could it be caused by my body not being used to such a large intake of protein?

Please help.
 
i think its ur metabalism working .. possibly its working faster ? you are not used to it. seeing you are new to weights and all that stuff u are burning more energy then usual so ur body mite be working faster etc. ..

dont take my word for it tho, this is just what i think
 
You're certainly persistent, I hope you're this persistent at the gym as well. Are you still in pain? If yes then see a doctor. Maybe you had an allergic reaction to one of the ingredients. Could be dairy or soya.
 
I'm willing to bet its the splenda found in many protein shakes. Check for it to say splenda or suraclose in the ingrediants. If this is the case try finding a protein shakes that uses Aspartame its much safer and more delicious :). Met-rx uses aspartame in its products.
 
I certainly wouldn't describe aspartame as being any safer.
