Hi I've lost 40 pounds out of 50 of my pregnancy weight. I still have 10 pounds to go to get back to my pre-pregnancy weight but I've been at a weight loss plateau for 3 weeks and struggling. I'm 5 ft. 4 in. and was 120 when I got pregnant. That's my ideal weight and I was very happy there. I have a small bone structure so I feel that weight suits me. My spouse thinks it would be better if I weighed around 140 due to personal preferences. He doesn't pressure me to gain weight verbally but cooks for me even when I tell him I'm not hungry or fixes me a plate with food that I've said is too large a serving.

How do you get your spouse on board with your weight loss??

My spouse is pretty much the same way, but instead of pushing me to eat more, she eats an insane amount, too and thinks my attempt at losing weight isn't "going to last". It's frustrating.

I consider myself lucky because my hubby got some pretty bad blood test result. He isn't that fat but his liver isn't good and his cholesterol levels were enormuous. So we decided to do something together.

Turned out my weight loss menu is also perfect for his problems so we eat together and try to be active together (he have to workout too). His goal is to stop drink pills for lowing the cholesterol and improve metabolism. My goal is to improve metabolism and lose weight. Funny thing is - he is 'fat' in the inside and I'm fat at the outside :D

My advice for you guys is - go and get some blood tests done with your partners. Probably your spouses will find out how unhealthy they are as well, and maybe they reconsider their lifestyle and eating habits and start to support you.

UGH! My husband is the same way. He likes me a little heavier and never motivates me to lose it. He wont stop me from it, and ultimately supports me but that's that. I wish he would be more involved... :-\
