help regain fitness

last year during august-november i was at a high level of fitness but since getting injured ive put on about 15lb and done no cardio but was still weight lifting.

since ive recovered from my injury i now want to regain the same level of fitness i had last year.

today i started my first cardio session and i only lasted 25mins on the treadmill at 10kmph, to me that is very poor for my standard.

my main question is how would i go by regaining my fitness?

should i do 25mins everyday den increase it by 10% everyweek?

maybe interval training?
 
To increase endurance and stamina, just do as much as you can. Walk for a while. And then go some more. The only way to increase endurance is by doing more. You can take up interval training as you increase your fitness.
