Help please.

As I said in my previous thread, I am 16 and am weighing in at 110 lbs. Sure, I am young, but I am concerned about my eating habit.

I have no one to talk to about this, hence why I joined this forum.

My lunch or dinner usually consists of some type of sandwich, such as a grilled chicken sandwich. I drink a lot of tea and water, but no soda.

I already know that I do not eat healthy food. I rarely choose fruits or vegetables, mainly because I only like few vegetables, and do not know what else to eat with my fruit.

If anyone could suggest some healthy meals and/or good excercises to keep me fit, I would greatly appreciate it!

At 16, I assume your parents still supply the household food? You're gonna have to talk with them to get better foods in the house.
 
Erm, 110lbs ? How tall are you... Because seriously don't see you needing to lose.
And wholemeal bread, some salad and chicken/turkey is perfect for lunch, if not a little light in calories.
 
Height and body type mean a lot. I am currently 106 and 5'0", and I still have some extra fat around my stomach and butt I'm trying to lose.
 
Breakfast, peanut butter toast. Nearly everyone has bread, and nearly everyone has peanut butter. Even if you have to rely on your parents shopping, this one should be easy :).

Also, scrambled egg, slice of cheese, on toast. Breakfast or lunch.

Any lunch meat, or sliced meat with a slice of cheese on bread for lunch. Or even PB&J. All something you can take with you to school.

I'd say that I am probably at least 5'4". I am not slim and slender, nor do I have more to love, but I am aware that I do not eat as well as I should.

I used to be able to run and wear a bikini without feeling awkward, but I am positive that I have just a little bit of flab that could be taken care of...
 
At 5'4 110 you sound very slim and slender , I am 5'3 and at 125lbs wearing size 2-4 (US) and I can understand toning up and eating better but it doesn't sound like you need to lose any weight. Your BMI is 18.9 under weight would be 18.5. Normal bmi for your height and weight is 18.5 to 24.9.
 
Well, yeah, I guess you are right. I do not seem to have a lot of excess skin, if any at all... but I guess that's what I want to do - is tone my stomach. Are there any certain excercises? I want to keep strong and fit.
 
I'm no expert but abs abs and more abs - have digital cable by chance ?
If so under " on demand " or similiar programs there are tons of free workouts under excercise tv or search the web for ab stregthing moves. Or there is always workout tapes devoted just to our stomachs and pilates are supposed to be excellent for toning up.
 
I do have digital cable... I don't know if I'll have it for much longer though. I also own one dancing workout video but I dont like it much. Crunches or situps dont do anything?
 
I'm sure they do , I'm just not sure how many is needed to achive what your looking for. Most ab related programs throw in several crunches along with some other moves to get all your stomach muscles.
 
Well, I guess I will keep searching around for more information. I don't go well with the videos. Thanks though! I really miss yoga class and working out at the gym. I wish my membership wasnt expired.

ive been doing situps and pushups lately. i dont know what that will do, but i feel the burn. :jump:
