Ok, last year, I cut around 40 lbs.
How? Skipping 2000 reps (100 per set) and playing with a 12lb medicine ball. Plus the dieting.
This occurred around 6 months.
I'm currently 164lbs. I've gotten down to 153 once, but seem to have leveled off around 164. Now, I've been training for a month. A MONTH. The same regimen, basically. Except now I do around 200 reps per set for jump rope.
Plus dieting. I went from 162 to 164...
I don't eat badly.
Breakfast: Cereal
Lunch :lentils and baked chicken
Dinner: probably the same.
