I've had recent success (starting 15 weeks ago), and felt pretty good after 2-3 weeks. I started controlling my carbs (bread, rice, pasta, soda, alcohol, sweets, etc) I did not eliminate them, but just became very aware and controlled. Water is now my go-to for drinks. Also, I started walking on the treadmill 2.4 mph, with a slight incline (3%). 45 minutes (Netflix show!), 4 times a week. Every 2-3 weeks, I increase the speed and incline SLIGHTLY. Biggest challenge: forcing myself to dress for the gym at 4:30 on workout days. That was truly the hardest part! No excuses, if I felt ill... I knew I would feel ill on the treadmill anyway, haha! If someone wanted my time, I said no or put it off. YOU have to be your top priority for awhile. YOU are worth it!
