Sport Fitness
Ok, so I have no idea what to do with my diet...im confused, and I just want to get on with it and see results! ive got a workout plan, no problems there...just diet which is bothering me!

So instead of making one from scratch, i thought it would be good for me and others like me if other people who are bulking to post their diets (with the numbers) so I can take that diet, modify the numbers and have my own.

Please post your diets!

Have a look around the forum there are tons of diets around.

Here is some advice is saw in one of Wrangels(sorry if i mispelt) posts, I found this a very good guide.

Simple, time-tested, no nonsense habits that you need to get into when designing a good eating program.

1. Eat every 2-3 hours, no matter what. You should eat between 5-8 meals per day.

2. Eat complete (containing all the essential amino acids), lean protein with each meal.

3. Eat fruits and/or vegetables with each food meal.

4. Ensure that your carbohydrate intake comes from fruits and vegetables. Exception: workout and post-workout drinks and meals.

5. Ensure that 25-35% of your energy intake comes from fat, with your fat intake split equally between saturates (e.g. animal fat), monounsaturates (e.g., olive oil), and polyunsaturates (e.g. flax oil, salmon oil).

6. Drink only non-calorie containing beverages, the best choices being water and green tea.

7. Eat mostly whole foods (except workout and post-workout drinks). "

Now, armed with this info, all YOU have to do is find a list - Google is a good place to start - of foods that make up ...

- lean protein

- fruits and vegetables

- saturated fat & monounsaturated fat & polyunsaturatesd fat

- whole foods

- etc.

for that list, i suggest having a look into the LV's groceries list. I found it all helpful i hope u do as well, good luck!

Comments on diet....

meal one, 6am
porridge with banana and egg whites

meal two, around 8:40
fruit (banana or apple), 20g peanuts

meal three, 10:20-50
10g almonds, yogurt

meal four, 12:30pm-1:00
fruit (banana, apple)
sandwich (lettuce, real cheese, shaved leg ham and chicken)

3:00-3:10pm
apple/multi v juice (i like to mix both...gives a nice taste)

6-7:30pm
lean chicken breast/fried rice, although because Im obviously living at home (im 14), and ive got a brother and two parents, having lean chicken breast with fried rice every night just isnt an option. sometimes it could be (homemade) lasange, pasta, etc...with fruit/veggies

9:30pm
natural peanut butter with cottage cheese

Hows that?

how many grams of protein/carbs/fat are you taking in everyday? how many calories? how much do you weigh (lean mass)? what is your BMR?

these need to be taken into consideration and then you can figure out where you need to head
