Sport Help me out

Sport Fitness
Alright so i started going to college a few weeks ago. Ive been going to the gym 5 days a week doing a split routine. Chest+Triceps on monday and thursday, back and biceps on tuesday friday and legs wednesdays. What im really concerned with is my diet. I usually eat 3 snacks meals a day and one meal at night. None of which is really healthy like frozen food **** for snacks and a grilled chicken sandwich + fries or onion rings for dinner. Im wondering what i should buy to eat. I got a fridge, and a oven in my apartment what should i eat and buy? Can someone give me a food meal plan or something???

I highly recommend LV's grocery list:

and 2 more meals a day.

Also, why only train legs once a week but all upper body muscles 2x a week?? the upper legs contain as much muscle as your upper body...don't cheat them.

and you seem to be skipping shoulders and abs completely??

ya pretty much what should i do for my shoulderS? i gotta start working on my abs more too. I just dont understand shoulders? isnt it kinda like ur upper back? caz i do that on my back day

I thinks its funny we both posted this today. But it is a damn fine list.

Working your shoulders and your traps properly doesn't involve alot of back muscle movement. Yes there is good secondary useage with good compound work, but still a heavy focus on shoulders. You will certainly notice once you start training them the difference. I know that when i started out I was neglecting my shoulders without understanding I was due to exercise choices and form. In the end I had to play some catch up and have just recently got them in check with everything else.

Here is some great shoulder moves.

Shoulder Press
Arnold press
Upright Row
Shurgs
Lateral Raise

Ballzey, throw some clean and presses in there and you've got yourself a whole workout. I'd do chest/back on the same day and finish with some slight bi or tri work.

BUT this is the nutrition section, so...

Get yourself some protien powder, some chicken that's ready to grill, some herbs and spices, and that's your protein. Now all you have to do is raid the fruits/veggies section...constantly.

Edit-

Whoa, LV's forum is like Fitness 1.5

clean and press? whats that. And the reason i only work legs once a week is because i work em on wednesday and they are still sore by friday and i go home on the weekends and work on my bag those 2 rest days. Only like a 20-1 hour workout depending on my mood. Im looking at LVS gocery list and ima buy some food on there to eat during the week. Thanks for all your posts i will try to work on my shoulders this week. I have noticed they have been seam to lacking i just couldnt point it out until now really heh.

When you get to the end of the power clean, press the weight overhead. I would supplement that lift for either your back or tri day.
