Help me get started in workingout (very underweight)

So as I said in the title, I am very underweight. I am around 5 foot 10 inches, and weight about 105 pounds (yes I am a man incase any of you were unsure by the body stats). I wouldn't consider myself terribly out of shape as my weight might suggest. I can still handle a fair amount of physical activity. And of course if my size isn't bad enough, I have a "lanky" body type which only further personifies my shape.

I want to know what would be a good diet and work out routine for me to start with. I stumbled upon this site which seems to be a good starting point but I would love your opinions since you are far more knowledged then me in this area. Thanks
 
I use to be 120lbs and 5"11 so I know how you feel...

But aftering coming to college for 1.5 years I've gained 25lbs and have 8% bodyfat.

Your really underweight, i am 5 ft 10 and i am 157 lbs. I think you should weight lift with a bulking diet. Try to put on good weight, dont just go around eating junk food, because that would be fat. IF you weight lift, and go on a healthy diet you can put on muscle and increase your weight.
 
eat, eat, eat then maybe some eating and after that lift heavy stuff.

ok if you are underweight you aren't eating enough. So make sure that you diet is packed with plenty of protein and good fats, as you are underweight I would also try include a good supply of carbs. use fitday.com to monitor your eating habits.
