Sport Help! I'm Stuck And I Can't Get Variety!

I have a really bad habit of finding one or two things I really like to eat and then I'll eat whatever it is over and over and over and over.

For example:

Right now Bing Cherries are in season and I'm eating the crap out of them.

A few weeks ago, I was stuck on Apples & PB.

Before that it was tuna.

Before that it was oatmeal.

I add other things to my diet of course through out the day, but I'll tend to not substitute anything else when I'm on whatever food kick I'm on.

Like yesterday I ate:

Whole Wheat Cereal & 2% milk
Cherries
Tuna Melt
Cherries
Veggie sticks
Cherries
Whole Wheat Pasta
Cherries
Cherries

Is it okay to do this or do I really need to try harder to add more variety??

Well first thing is as long as you are eating healthy foods on your "kick" then go for it! I think everyone gets a food that they fall in love with for a period of time. for me it was snow peas, now its strawberries... if its healthy go for it! variety is important so as long as you cover your needs with your other meals you should be fine.
