I'm trying to get back into losing weight and counting calories when I was in school was definitely an effective tool. But now I've taken the year of and I work at a fairly high intensity job for 6 day then have two days off. Mostly they are just 3-4 hour shifts with 1 (sometimes 2) 12 hour day but it's the equivalent to walking briskly while carrying 10 pounds and doing squats for 3 hours.
The problem is, is that when I was just in school I didn't have to factor in what I'd have to eat in order to function properly at my job as well as losing weight. I don't usually eat much to begin with (just what I do eat is crap and I'm working on changing that) so I don't usually go over 2000 calories a day... I tried yesterday to fit in 1200 calories and it was the toughest thing ever! Getting up to 1200 calories I mean, lol!
Anyway, I'm worried that I'm not getting enough and that it is affecting my weightloss efforts negatively?
I'm just barely 5'1 and weigh around 220lbs, for stats.
