help everyone

hello everyone , My name is candice from Morocco , I'm 22 years old , 61.5 kilos /164 cm (135 lbs 5 feets 4 inches ) My thing is that Ive been always an obese child as growing up I lost alot of weight but didn't manage to be the ideal weight I want ,I have this kind of body where most of the fats centers to my butt and stomach , I have real slim legs ,and waist , anyway this is not my problem , My real problem is that it has been about 3 weeks since I started exercising and following a strong diet .

I do more than 1 hour of cardio and dancing everyday till I feel like i have no strength left , and I always walk very fastely about 3 kilometers or more about 3 times a week, I don't eat junk , only full grain bread and vegetables , no fries whatsoever , BUT I didn't lose more than 1 kilo , people say I actually lost some weight but my scale doesn't lie , I only lost maybe 1.5 pound , this is sooo frustrating , I wanna have the perfect body , the summer is soo cloose , I wanna feel great and be great , I forgot to mention that I run about 1 kilometre saturdays and sundays by the beach and aalso , I don't eat dinner .. so guys what's is hapening??? plz help
 
Whoa, slow down! You can't RUSH WEIGHTLOSS! Nope. In fact, you want to aim to lose around 1 or 2 lbs a week. If you lose the weight too fast than it might backfire and you might end up gaining it all back after the summer (or during).

Here's my advice:
1. I tell everyone who wants to diet to not THINK like it's a diet, but like it's a lifestyle change. It's a change of mindset, change of habit that you really should stick to for the rest of your life (while making small adjustments throughout). However, considering you are pretty slim already and don't have that much to lose, it shouldn't be that tough.

2. Eat veggies! I can't stress that enough, veggies will help lean down your tummy and booty... so don't avoid them. :D

3. Drink lots of water, you want to aim for 5-8 cups-a-day. But keep in mind that drinking too much is bad.

4. Go get a physical, your doctor can give you expert advice and a plan for you to follow in order to lose the weight. But this is purely optional.

5. Running/walking is one of the best things to do (besides swimming) that can help you lean down. Try to run every day and if you can't run, start walking. But with the exercises your doing already (dancing, cardio workouts) you will lose that weight easily.

6. Once again, don't starve yourself ("I don't eat dinner")! You gotta eat AT LEAST 3 meals-a-day. But, you want to aim for 6 to speed up your metabolism. The way how your eating, it sounds to me like your metabolism is slowing down and trying to make-up for the fact that your not eating enough and with a slow metabolism, you will end up GAINING WEIGHT. So don't starve yourself, your weight-loss will come to a screeching halt so eat often and eat healthy.

Finally, good luck! And don't sweat it, you will lose the weight. Be patient and consider yourself very lucky you have such little weight to lose! I still have 42lbs! :p

Hello Fox , thank you very much for your very welcomed advices , I was thinking of that Slow metabolism thing , I knew it could be what just is happening to me , but I'm soo afraid of having 6 meals , it looks like it's not gonna help , cuz u know i've never been that person who eat ALOOOT as u can clearely read , I'm just 135 lbs , I've never had 6 meals before , the reason I gained 4 kilos this year is because of my call center job where i sit the whole day and then eat sandwiches and fries or pizza , u know just junk...but anyway , last year I was 58 kilos (127 lbs)..I wanna be that again , but I remember even with the 127 I still had a tiny tummy there , it just didn't disapear , that's why I'm going for the 125lbs.

another question plz ... do u think it's ok to eat junk like once in a month or so , stuff like pizza or fries , cuz i don't think I can manage to deprive my self completely from cakes or so , it's just not possible with a mother like mine who's very good at cooking , and we're a big familly that meet up from once in a while having small parties and so , another thing , maybe it's my weakness , I LOOOVE CHOCLATE , especially dark one , do u think it's safe eating it?

another thing , sorry for talking too much but I have lack of calcuim , that's why i need to drink alot of milk or calcuim pills , do u think my diet is gonna work with that? , till now I stopped drinking milk cuz i'm afraid that i will gain , but I usually have yogurt ..

Okay, I should had been more specific on the meals thing. You can have, say, three normal meal (sandwhiches, salad, etc...) and than have three smaller meals (1 cup of yogurt, a few celery sticks, protein bar, act...). And since your not used to eating like that, ease into it and perhaps start out the first week eating 1 plus meal, like adding dinner. Than, the next week add in a snack in between breakfast and lunch, brunch,.lol. Than repeat and keep adding a snack every week till you reach 6.

If you REALLY can't eat 6, just have the normal three. And yes, you can still eat pizza. Or treat yourself to some dark choclet every once in a while, just don't go over board. Tell yourself that you can have one slice of pizza or two. But you gotta eat healthy still, like the veggies I mentioned

You can still have milk, in the mornings after my workout I have a DAN ACTIVE yogurt. But I don't drink milk, I drink the Silk Soy milk, which gives you the calcium you need as well as other nutrion. Now, some argue that soymilk can cause breast cancer, but idk, its entirely up to you. Theres not a huge risk that your gonna get cancer by drinking a little bit of ssoy milk every day.
 
So I'm no expert but I agree with fox. You need to eat more. If you are working out as much as you said you are. Your body does not have the fuel to use. There are a very calculators on the web that can calculate how many calories you should consume in a day. Just as an example just on a normal day if I did nothing I would need to eat like 2300 calories in a day. But since I'm doing the insanity workout and workout about a hour a day for 6 days a week and I have a goal of losing 1 to 1.5 pounds a week I actually consume over 3000 calories a day.

And as far as milk goes I drink at least a glass a day with some protein powder

And I believe that you should every now and then have a cheat day. Where for one meal have a burger or a piece of pizza. I think if you don't have a cheat day that you are more likely to fall off the wagon and have a couple days of bad eating or you stop doing your workout and eating right all together.
That is just my .02
