Sport Help! Curbing sweet tooth

Sport Fitness
I eat fruit instead.

Rip, that is such a guy answer!! :) My husband used to say the same thing until I got mad enough times! I do agree with most of the other post but sometimes it's not as easy as that.

I drink crystal light a lot of the time or I just eat a little piece of chocolate or a handful of nuts.

its funny but i like to binge on sweet after i have had my lunch or dinner sort of the desert thing

you gotta develop a taste for other things esp vegetable juice sweetened etc

I forgot...I also eat bars like Zone bars and Luna bars. They're not the BEST choice but they're better than eating cookies and ice cream and stuff :)

yeah my treat are balance bars and also a couple of little dark choclate hershy blocks melted on some almonds (ha now a couple) is not that bad for you and i nice treat. I also get in the kitchen and pull stuff out of my behind so to speak. Like i just made up peanut butter protein muffins. Only 110 calories and with good proteins, carbs and fats.

And also as time goes on things that didnt seem so sweet before almost take you head off. Like an orange now is just mad sweet and always does the trick.

i dont think having a sweet tooth is all that bad unless ur so prone to gaining weight.

it ok to binge into some occasional sweet bites
just that you be choosy about what you indulge into

some of my friends leave a weekend; a day when they eat to their desire ofcourse within limits ;)

also as i mentioned earlier if your having a good healthy diet its ok to indulge

That sounds like a typical chick response to a typical guy answer.

(-:

Do women have less willpower than men?

Doubtful...

Do they act like it?

Often...

I'm sure my husband would agree :). Although honestly he doesn't have much of a sweet tooth like I do. He would rather drink beer and eat steak :)

Fat Free pudding, frozen. I get them in the individual size pre-made and freeze them. Not uber-healthy, but works in a pinch. When I'm really in need of chocolate (I do believe you can have a strong chocolate addiction :)) I have a piece or two of the super dark chocolate. Very high in fat, so only a little bit once in a while, but if you get 60% or higher cocoa you only need a little bit. Also the super dark chocolate is high in anti-oxidents, not that that is an excuse to eat a bunch! I found that if I didn't satisfy my craving for chocolate in some way I would binge and really blow my diet.

I think you only have sweet cravings if your blood sugar levels are volatile. If you have little slow release carbs every 3 hours you're unlikely to get any cravings. I used to crave biscuits around 4 in the afternoon and now only get sweet cravings if I haven't eaten for over 4 hours.

I also think men are much more into sweets than women. My boyfriend can't walk past a chocolate shop. :)

That's why along with the 3 hour interval meals I take chromium sups.
My other trick is having several flavors of chewing gum in the house.

I don't see chocolate addiction as a problem. I take cocoa as a sup in my morning shake.
A little bit of pure cocoa each day is excellent for the body.

lol thats hilarious. drink beer and eat steak... lol
oh by the way, i don't like candy much anyways... but mostly because i can't stand it when my teeth get all dirty, and we all know mouth germs feed off those sugars... lol i know im weird about it.

Here are my craving killers:
1) WATER, and lots of it
2) Jello (no fat, no sugar)
3) High-fiber sweetness (anything by Kashi)
4) Fruit
