the reason why people say running in the morning is more beneficial is because at that time your glycogen levels are down and u have no carbohydrates to burn off ... so u burn fat right off the bat (didnt mean to rhyme) haha
but there are minor controversial issues with this ... some saying that your body could also turn to protein as an energy source, which your muscles need more. so they say you burn your muscle off too. morning runs do boost your metabolism for the day. but runs in general boost your metabolism, so having the same amount of running in the evening will boost your metabolism just as much (although it is a good thing to get it high in the morning)
But personally, i try both. Either way your going to burn fat ... and morning runs probably will burn some more .... but at the same time, they can be more of a burden to run sometimes.
a good thing to do if you do evening runs, is to keep your carb intake very minimum after your run.
just keep it fun
