Basically getting rid of the fat is just a question of burning more calories than taking in.
So you shouldn't just exercise but also have a look at what your eating. If you workout and then go to a drive-thru you won't lose anything.
That being said the kind of exercise isn't that important, just stay busy. If the exercises get you heartrate up you'll be working to get into shape
Some ppl find they're perfectly ok with stock programs at their local gyms, other use homeshopping fitness programs to workout at home and others want to go outside on a hike, bikeride or a run.
Find something you like and you're comfortable with, that way it'll be much easier to keep doing it.
