I've been trying to lose weight for some time now, and I just can't seem to stick with it. I go back to eating junk and not exercising far too much. I need to lose about 40 lbs and I just can't seem to get going with it. I'm hoping to find a like minded community with motivation and support. :)

Welcome to the forum. Making yourself accountable can really help. Try starting a journal in our journal section. Record your exercise and daily food intake. You can ask for tips or just use it purely to keep yourself accountable.

Well...you gotta start with a plan, some combination of diet and exercise that makes you lose weight. For some it's more diet and for others it is more activity. Have you thought about it? Is there some exercises or activities that you don't hate? What healthy low cal foods do you like? Get a plan.
