Hi Everyone! I'm new here!
I'm excited to find an active forum around weight loss. I actually used to be really active on a forum for military significant others while my then boyfriend was deployed, and it helped so much to get through that.
Well that boyfriend is now my hubby, and out of the army. He is a personal trainer and I'm a bank manager in Texas. My name's Haley by the way, but you can call me hales![Wink ;) ;)](data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7)
I'm 31
not sure where my 20's went to... and we have no kiddos...yet. We do have 3 beautiful kitties though! I'm officially crazy for cats...I have a long haired tuxedo named Luann, we named her after the Luann Platter at Luby's because she will eat anything. Maggie is my sweet girl, and Dexter hates us, lol.
As far as why I'm here... I've struggled with my weight since I hit about 25 and that powerhouse metabolism started slowing down. I was always one of the skinny b****es you see that can eat her way through a McDonald's menu, barely exercise and never go over 125. Needless to say, once I hit 25 and my metabolism started to slow, I had some pretty bad habits.
I think I've finally found an exercise I can stick to in Jazzercise, and since I hate "eating right" I was thinking just by going to Jazzercise 5x a week i could lose this weight. Well I've been gaining still. I really eat that bad.
I'm going back to my Weight Watchers menus that I used while on the plan, but I'm not really wanting to pay $30 a month since I have all the info I need.
Sticking to an eating plan and actually changing the relationship I have with food is the biggest and hardest challenge for me right now. And it's what I'll need the most support with.
