Hi :) I've just joined this forum because I want to lose weight and a looking for a supportive environment to keep me motivated.

I've been putting on weight since last year and it was gradual, a few pounds here and another few there but it added up until I'd put on about three quarters of a stone. Id been trying to lose that for a while (with little success) and when exam period came around a few months ago, I started serious stress eating which put on more weight which I am now determined to lose.

I've tried calorie restriction but that doesn't work because 1) its impossible to keep yourself motivated to do that and 2) you end up heavier than you started due to binges. The whole extreme restriction and binge seems like a one way street to an ED which is definitely not where I want to end up, so I'm going the long route. I'm looking to change my lifestyle, try to escape my sugary addiction and become healthier and in the process lose that weight. I know this will take longer, so I need somewhere I can go to when I'm getting frustrated with slow progress, but ultimately it'll be better :)

Currently I weigh about 128 lbs and I'm looking to get back down to 112 lbs
