Hello there,
Obviously I'm new here so thought I'd introduce myself. I'm overweight and a couch potato which is a bad combination. I comfort eat when I am down, and I am down because of my weight so it's a vicious circle. I want to change this, hence why I am here, to hopefully get support and advice when needed.

Hi, just wanted to say welcome and that I can understand a little about how you feel. I to am a couch potato and eat when I feel down. Then I feel guilty for over eating. I have to kick myself into getting off the couch, but when you find an exercise or activity you like it becomes easier. Even if it is just walking. Maybe try different activities and see what you enjoy?
