Hello everyone, my name is Stacee and I'm nearly twenty years old. It's always been a goal of mine to slim down however it's seems like an impossible chore.

Currently I weigh about 150 and would like to get down to about 125. It's important to me to stay healthy seeing as I have a very low immune system. I've tried many different things, from fruit-fasting to daily-excericise.

I am open to any ideas and tips you all have to share and am looking foreward to sharing the experience!

Hi Stacee,

A healthy diet, a good exercise routine, a positive attitude and plenty of sleep will surely help. A lot of folks are unaware of what sleep deprivation can do when it comes to adding pounds.

Cheers!

Terry

Hi, Stacee! Welcome!

Fad diets never worked for me. I just try to eat healthy food, watch my portion sizes, and exercise daily. Mostly I walk, but I also do exercises with weights 3 times a week.

Good luck with your weight loss! I know you can do it! See you around the forum.

Hey Stacee!

Eating healthier, making smarter meal choices, watching my calorie intake, making sure I don't go over a limit of 1600 calories, drinking lots of water, and exercising seems to be working pretty good for me so far.

Good luck, and I hope to see you around on the forums! :)

Thanks for the advice guys! Tomorrow I'm beginning to run in the mornings and making sure I drink plenty of water. It's difficult eating healthier when health food is so expensive. I'd also like to stay away from artificial sweeteners and the food that is 'low-fat' I'd like to be as natural as possible (I've actually just read Natural Cures.. it really opened my eyes.) And I just slept for 16 hours catching up on sleep, I've felt great all day.

Welcome, Stacee!
