Hi Everyone!
I'm new to these forums (obviously  ). What prompted me to join is a book I picked up the other day called "Tales frome the Scale". A lot of the people's stories involved online support groups such as these forums. I look forward to getting to know each and every one of you.

A little history about myself, I'm 31 and FAT! I was at one point 300lbs and lost down to 200lbs mainly keeping my calories low and exercise up. I've lost a lot of my desire to continue, and have gained 30lbs back. :(

I'm trying to get started up again, but I'm finding it so TOUGH this time around. Any suggestions to get my going again??? I just can't stand being this heavy, I keep telling myself "I'll start tomorrow" and tomorrow never seems to come.

I really do look forward to knowing all of your stories! So, a big HELLO to everyone. :D

it IS hard to stay motivated. i have been doing this over a year and i do fall off the wagon every so often. it would be easier if we had an event planned i think for example "to be thin for the wedding in september". i really do think forums help so keep posting.

Keeping a diary is the key for me! Make sure you start a diary and post ALL of your food and exercise, plus stuff that's just going on in your life. That kind of stuff affects your weight loss too. It's very important. You'll do great!

Hey!
I know exactly what you mean...i always use to keep putting off losing weight. But hopefully that will change for you and me! By the way, I am very impressed that you lost that much weight. Cheers! Here's an idea to get motivation..try Oprah's bootcamp. It seems like a good plan and on her site she has some tips and great ideas for motivation, like making a strict contract with yourself. Good luck!

Cool idea, I'm going to check it out Jewels :) By the way, good to be back guys missed the support...it's so much easier to diet with you guys around hehe.

*hugs*
