I own exercise thingies, I just don't use them. :p I have a stair climber that works really well for holding what I wear to work tomorrow. I have the resistance bands & door hanger. Own a bike - it may have well been a stationary model. I am kind of using that big inflatable ball. I have no stick-to-it-iveness with any form of exercise. I'm a secretary, you know what that means. I keep buying fitness and self - thinking an article (magic) will inspire me. What I find instead, is that I sit to read, can't do much of what they describe due to degenerating discs and an old foot injury, and don't understand the directions to do the ones they do descibe pretty often. They use terms I don't get and please remind me which muscle that is. :D And, I thought I would go online and tell them this - but what I found was alot of products to purchase and a link to this! I want to get started and don't know how. I buy these mags for the articles on the front cover and then they have disclaimers about where you need to be before you start! Help!
As to the weight loss...I am a yo-yo. I have been 280. I got down to 160. Back up to 240. Back down to 160. Up to 210 (maybe getting smarter each time?) Today I am at 148 (up) I was at 140 (for a day!) :p I even had a tummy tuck! I am doing sit ups nightly to keep it looking good - but that's where looking good ends I'm afraid. I'm an Atkins veteran and love it. My downfalls are alcohol and chocolate.
Just got off a cruise. Weight went up to 153. Got back down to 146 then relaxed and went back to 150. Restraining myself this weekend - 148 so far. Had to take a good look - remember how I got here, try not to beat myself up too bad and get back to business. Wish me luck!

Good luck! and congrats on getting down to 140 from 280!! That's awesome!
