Hi everyone,

I'm new here. I'm 24 years old and a masters student in Canada :)

I'm currently overweight (156 lbs, height: 5',3''). I'd like to lose about 35 pounds. Goal weight is about 120 lbs.

I've been overweight for the majority of life. I've tried several times before (just like many other people) but didn't succeed in losing and/or keeping it off.

I'm not sure what to share about myself - please feel free to ask me any questions :)

Hey,

I've been keeping an excel file that tracks how many calories I eat in a day. I've realized this time around that its very easy to overeat past the recommended caloric intake. I've also realized how hard it is to burn calories. I was at the gym today and 20 minutes burned 121 calories only. That is basically 1 cup of 2% milk.

Realizing these things makes me understand why people struggle to lose weight for so long. Despite there efforts, they do not keep track of, and thus are more likely to go over, their caloric intake - resulting in very little weight loss.
