Hi All,
I am hoping that this forum will help me lose the 32lbs excess weight I suffer! I am wondering where you get those handy little weight monitors/bars that some people have at the bottom of there posts?? Anyway, I am looking forward to sharing my journey to a healthy weight with you.

I am going to follow the weightwatchers points system as I am an X member and have all the stuff you get, books, calculators and so on. But I do want to focus on eating less dairy, chocolate and wine and more fruits and vegetables. I have followed 'you are what you eat' in terms of healthy foods and I think I eat well. But my downfall is cheese which I eat almost everday and chocolate which I have once a week. I have to have lots of dairy in the fridge for the children, so I am easily tempted! Chocolate I limit to friday nights but I eat a large pack of maltesers with a large glass of wine and crisps, but it is once a week only. I have not put on any weight for about a year, but I can't lose it!!! When I was with weightwatchers I lost 2 stone and carried on going but couldn't lose anymore, so then I left, now I am hoping to lose another 2 stone again, but don't want to go back to weightwatchers as I think the novelty has worn off for me! So you see I have reached a plateau and need a kick up the backside to get me going again!!!!

Hi Cate! Welcome in! :D Chocolate is such a delicious, evil item! Once a week seems reasonable depending on the portion. What about exercise? When you were losing weight before, did ya exerise as well and try changing it up to get over that plateau?
 
Hi t'is4me,
I usually dance once a week (Ceroc) and have done exercise at home too, on average I exercise just once a week, but I am a mother of 2 young children and I am mostly on the move. I am not sure why I can't just get on with the weight loss as I know what to do and how to do it, it's just getting on with it that is the problem.
