(Hello!) Possible Problem with Running?

Hello, I've been reading for couple weeks on the forum and finally had to sign up.

Perhaps you guys can help me out. P.S I'm on a good diet as I consulted a personal trainer about my diet.

On a tread mil:
I run 40 minutes at 5.2 after I do jump rope for 30 minutes which consists of skipping 3 minutes resting one minute and situps for an additional minute and repeat til 30 minutes is complete. I do this 6 out of the 7 days a week.

I find that I'm not gaining anything anymore....

Could someone help my create a new plan? The skipping feels really intense and helps, just my running plan needs to change maybe increase speed and cut time?

I'm 6'0 200 pounds and can barely clear a mile in 8 minutes :(
 
On the treadmill: start running intervals for 40 minutes as opposed to 40 minutes continuous at a steady pace. If you want to continue doing a steady paced run, try increasing your intensity progressively. Run at 5.5 for 40 minutes and keep working your way up.

I read a 9 week program here that I started doing lastnight! Great work out!

I started the first week program as run 60 seconds walk 90 seconds for 20 minutes.... Sounds easy right? I set the treadmill at 8.5-9.2 mph, feels great!
