Hello - newby here

Hi all,

I was wondering if this is ok for exercising during the week:

Sunday - BodyPump class ( approx 1hour)
Monday - circuit training with weights (light) 4 sets x 12 reps, chest/shoulders/squats/lunges/dips and finishing on rowing machine
Tuesday - Rest day
Wednesday - BodyPump class
Thursday - Cardio Jogging Running on Tredmill or walking on incline at 15 - 45 mins / Crossfit trainer - 30 mins
Friday - BodyPump class
Saturday - Cardio Jogging Running on Tredmill or walking on incline at 15 - 45 mins / Crossfit trainer - 30 mins

am I overtraining or is this ok :)

Thanks in advance.

What do you mean by newbie? New to working out in general? What is the Body Pump class like? Are you taking any protein or supplements? If you're just starting out, it's a good idea to do 4-5 days a week (usually I would recommend 3 workout days with one run day and 3 rest days) if you're feeling particularly motivated.

You don't want to just jump into something - believe me, I've done it. I also tore my quad, lol. It sucked.

But yeah, can you be a little more specific about what exactly you're doing and what the challenge-level is like?

Hi sorry realise how vague i sounded when reading your questions. OK newbie to this forum.. have been in and out of exercising for years. I'm 51 years old and quite fit. Bodypump is the Les Mills trademark where you perform high reps with low weights in a group class with instructor - its all over the world.

I do take Max's super shred 4-6 x day depending on my hunger levels. I feel fine for now but usually feel like taking only 1 full day off a week.

Well, if you are trying to lose weight, as the poster above me suggested that you might be, you would want to do more cardio. Are you open to supplements? Because there are a few really good ones that are good to take before you do a workout. Nothing too crazy though.
