Hi!

I'm excited to find this forum as I really need motivation.

Last year I went from 240 to 195 in like 7 months and then shot back up to 248 by February of this year.

I started to exercise and diet starting on February 5th and lost 20 pounds in a few months but have hit a wall. Last year I put my goals on a different forum and it worked great but there were so many trolls I stopped sharing over there.

Im going to finish the last few days of a vacation with my family and go home Saturday and start a new program. I will start a diary with more background info here soon, like I did last year which wasssss so helpful.

Looking forward to getting this on!!!

Thanks :)

Good to see you are wanting to change your life for the better. Make sure you have a cheat day. Weight loss is suppose to be a fun and happy change so enjoy it. Having a cheat day actually helps you improve your metabolism AND stops your body from going into starvation mode, while keeping you motivated because you can still eat the yummy foods you enjoy. Good luck to you

Hi Jamie, yah I for sure need a cheat day. My problem is I getta a little out of control and live close to a mall with Taco Bell, Baskin Robbins, and pretzel place that I go crazy at. My cheat days turn into total insanity if not careful, but Im up to the challenge.

I got back from vacation yesterday and taking today and tomorrow to get used to being home. Went shopping and stocked up on good food n got a great hike in today. Im going to start officially on Monday with a journal here, but really happy with where Im leading into this, just need to execute :)

Ok great, sounds good. And it's entirely okay to get out of control on your cheat day. This is your day to have whatever you like, your day to not feel guilty. You will put on around 1/2 pound just on that day but it's mostly water retention so it's going to go away very quickly.
